While you’re using it

Your tasks, chats, plans, code and deliverables stay available for as long as you’re working with them. Nothing expires while a task is in use.

Idle tasks are purged after 90 days

If a task has had no activity for 90 days, its stored workspace and files are deleted and the storage reclaimed. The task itself stays in your list. Open it and you’ll see that its workspace was cleaned up; the conversation is still there, and the work can be picked back up from scratch. Anything already merged into your repository is untouched — that’s in GitHub, not here.
If a task matters long-term, the durable copy is the merged code in your own repository and any deliverables you downloaded. Don’t rely on a workspace staying warm for a year.

Deleting a task

Delete a task and we destroy:
  • the conversation and every message in it
  • any files you attached
  • every deliverable it produced
  • the stored workspace
  • the container the task was running in
Deletion is queued durably, so it completes even if our systems restart part-way through. It returns immediately rather than making you wait for the storage to be reclaimed. One thing survives: the billing record. Usage and cost figures are kept for accounting, with the link to the deleted task removed. They cannot be used to reconstruct your work, and tax law requires us to keep them.

Deleting a project

Deleting a project deletes everything under it — its tasks and their chats, files and deliverables, plus its stored Odoo connections and their encrypted keys. Your GitHub repositories are not touched. CodeCobra disconnects from them; it does not delete them.
