# Documents and decks

> Word documents, PowerPoint decks and PDFs, written from your real data and ready to send.

Some findings need a sentence, not a cell. CodeCobra writes Word documents, PowerPoint decks and PDFs from the same live data it uses for everything else.

## When this is the right shape

* **A written summary** of something you asked it to investigate, for people who won't open a spreadsheet
* **A board or client deck** with the figures already filled in
* **A process document** describing how a workflow works now, after it has read your configuration
* **A PDF** of anything above, for sending outside the company

> *"Write up what you found about the stock discrepancy as a two-page memo for the operations director — what happened, which records prove it, and what to do about it."*

> *"Turn last month's sales numbers into a ten-slide deck for the partner meeting."*

## Previewing before you send

Documents and decks render in the browser as a PDF preview, so you can read the whole thing without downloading it and without needing Office installed. When it's right, download the original `.docx` or `.pptx` and edit it like any other file.

<Tip>Ask for the tone you need. *"Keep it factual, no adjectives"* and *"write it for someone who doesn't know Odoo"* both produce noticeably different documents.</Tip>

## Revising

Documents go through drafts like anything else:

> *"Too long. Cut it to one page and lead with the recommendation."*

Each revision is a new version; the previous one stays in the file's history.

## What it won't do

CodeCobra writes from what it can actually see — your Odoo data, the files you attached, the code in your repositories. It won't invent a market figure or a competitor's number to round out a slide. If a deck needs something it has no source for, it will say so rather than fill the gap.
