# Build a website or storefront

> CodeCobra builds Odoo websites and eCommerce storefronts end to end — research, design, build, then checks its own work.

CodeCobra builds websites and eCommerce storefronts in Odoo — not a wireframe, a working site with your products, your content and your branding.

## How it goes

<Steps>
  <Step title="It asks about the business">
    What you sell, to whom, what makes you different, what the site is for. This is the part people expect to skip and shouldn't — a site built without it looks like a template.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It looks around">
    If you have an existing site, CodeCobra reads it for your copy, product information and images. It also researches what works in your sector.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It proposes a design">
    Structure, page-by-page content plan, and the visual direction. You review this before anything is built, the same as any other plan.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It builds">
    Pages, theme, navigation, product listings — configured in your Odoo instance, so it's a real Odoo website that your team can edit afterwards in the normal editor.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It checks its own work">
    CodeCobra opens the finished pages in a browser at several screen sizes, looks at them, and fixes what's wrong — overlapping elements, text too faint to read, images that don't fit. Then it shows you.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Images

Sites need pictures. CodeCobra sources them by pulling usable images from your existing site, searching licensed stock, or generating them where nothing suitable exists.

<Warning>Image search and generation are billed per use, separately from the rest of the build. A site with a lot of imagery is a visible line on your usage. You can tell CodeCobra to use only images you supply if you'd rather control that.</Warning>

## What you should still do yourself

* **Check the copy.** CodeCobra writes from what it learned about your business. Read it before it goes live — claims about your company should be yours.
* **Check the licensing** on any generated or sourced image you intend to use commercially.
* **Test checkout** end to end if it's a storefront. CodeCobra tests what it can see; a real payment flow needs your credentials.
